ASSISTANT FIRE MARSHAL - H.S. diploma or GED; five years of increasingly responsible professional fire-fighting/EMS experience, or 2 years of full time experience as fire inspector or prevention officer. Must be certified as a Fire Fighter I and EMT I as a minimum. A Bachelor of Science degree in administration or a related field, an Associates degree in Fire Science/Prevention, ICBO fire inspector certification, ICBO certified plans examiner, or other prevention related certifications are preferred. Position requires a valid Alaska Drivers License to perform all job functions. Wage: $25.11 per hour; excellent benefits. Physical Ability Testing will be required if you have not successfully passed a PAT test in the past 12 months. Open until filled.
