CES responded to a reported structure fire near Fireweed & West Redoubt Ave about 7:20 PM on Saturday November 10th.

The first unit on scene reported smoke and fire visible from the upper floor of the home. The fire was contained to the kitchen with minimal smoke or water damage to the rest of the home.

A family pet escaped serious injury by hiding from the smoke in a basement closet.

CES responded with Engine 1, Ladder 1, Medic 1, 904, 906 and Chief 2.
