Central Emergency Services received a 911 call reporting black smoke coming from the Sterling waste transfer station just after 7:00 PM May 28th. On arrival Engine 3 found a fully involved waste transfer trailer.

Damage to the building and the trailer were moderate. C.E.S. responded with Engine 3, Tanker 3, Tanker 1, Medic 1 and support staff.
