C.E.S. received a report of a vehicle that had rolled off the highway just before 7:00 AM on Wednesday May 9. The accident occurred near Mile 108 of the Sterling Highway.

One occupant was in the vehicle, and was ejected during the crash and transported by LifeGuard Helicopter with numerous injuries. Alaska State Troopers had the Sterling Highway closed for about 15 minutes as rescuers prepared the patient for air transport to Central Peninsula Hospital.

C.E.S. responded with Medic 4 and Rescue 1.
